Our Fellowship Committee
Our Mission
Fellowship is a relationship of inner
unity among believers that express itself in outer
co-participation with Christ and one another in accomplishing God’s will
on earth. The goal of the fellowship committee
is to provide opportunities for members of Calvin Church, as well
as all other willing participants, to achieve God’s
will through events and activities.
Tasks
The responsibilities of the
Fellowship Committee are:
1. Work together with Session and the
congregation to plan any and all activities that will further the fellowship
and growth of our church.
2. Hold monthly meetings.
3. Record and distribute minutes of
meetings to Session and Church Administrator.
4. The events that this committee is
responsible to plan include but are not limited to:
a.
Pancake Supper held on Shrove
Tuesday.
b.
Assist The Youth Group with Pasta
Supper planning. This is typically a youth group fundraiser, and is held in the
beginning of spring.
c. Assist in the planning of the Church Picnic held in June.
d. Plan Thanksgiving Dinner.
e. Organize Sunday morning coffee hour schedule.
